Individualized Attention

In a typical tutoring session, I start with a check-in to build rapport and friendship while maintaining professionalism. Then, I deliver targeted instruction tailored to the child's goals and needs, ensuring a focused approach to their learning. Using a multi-sensory approach, integrating technology, and incorporating enrichment activities, I engage the child in an interactive learning experience

Progress Tracking

I utilize both formative and summative assessments to evaluate students’ progress in decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Additionally, I provide regular progress reports outlining their achievements, areas for improvement, and next steps. Consultations via meetings or email are also available as needed to address any questions or concerns.

  • Currently, I only provide online tutoring services.

  • Tutoring sessions are 45 to 50 minutes long. On average, students benefit from more frequent tutoring, with at least 2 sessions per week showing positive results. However, the ideal frequency can vary depending on individual needs and goals.

  • I use Quickbooks for secure and easy billing. You can choose between biweekly billing, where invoices are sent every two weeks, or a discounted prepaid 10-session package.

  • I use a combination of assessment methods to gain a clear picture of your child's learning level and track their progress throughout our work. Regular formative assessments help me identify strengths and areas for improvement. You'll also receive monthly progress reports keeping you informed on their achievements and any adjustments needed. Additionally, I provide summative reports at the end of each semester, summarizing your child's overall learning journey and next steps.
